Could David Luiz be off to Barcelona?

Barcelona's defensive difficulties were well documented over the summer and coach Martino is on record as saying he will reassess the situation in January, as the Catalan club look for the long-term replacement for Carles Puyol. Blackpool v Chelsea Preview

Blackpool will be looking for a result to help their Premier League survival bid as they take on current title holders Chelsea at Bloomfield Road this evening. The last time these two sides met in September Chelsea were resounding 4-0 winners at Stamford Bridge but the Seasiders can still remain optimisitc having claimed notable victories over other Premier League titans including Liverpool and Spurs. Chelsea 2-1 Manchester United

Chelsea kept their domestic season alive thanks to a second-half comeback against current league leaders Manchester United at Stamford Bridge this evening. Despite taking the lead thanks to a venemous Wayne Rooney strike in the first period, Manchester United were unable to hold a one goal lead and eventually lost the tie 2-1 after second-half goals from David Luiz and Frank Lampard.
