According to reports from Spanish outlet Marca, Arsenal superstar Mesut Ozil is eyeing a move back to former club Real Madrid.
Real Madrid took the surprising decision to allow Mesut Ozil to leave for Arsenal during the summer of 2013 and the transfer most certainly raised a lot of eyebrows even though Los Blancos received a whopping £42.5 million in exchange for the German superstar.
Ozil has since managed to establish himself as a key player for Arsenal over the past few seasons but there are doubts regarding his future at the Emirates Stadium at the moment due to the fact that he has not yet signed an extension to his current deal at the club.
It is believed that Ozil could be eyeing up a move away from Arsenal soon and now in surprise reports from Spanish outlet Marca, the 28-year-old is said to be looking for a return back to the Santiago Bernabeu next season.
Claims have been made that Ozil wants another shot at Madrid and is keen on joining the European champions if they are willing to take him back.
