£85 million-rated star bluntly states he will never join Real Madrid

Speaking to Telefoot, Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann has gone on to state that he will never consider joining Real Madrid.

Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann has established himself as one of the finest attackers in the world over the past few years and it goes without saying that the French international is a player of desire for a host of top clubs around Europe.

It is now widely expected that Griezmann will be leaving for greener pastures next summer and reports have claimed that Atletico Madrid may part with their star player if any team can match their valuation of around £85 million.

There are admittedly very few clubs in the world who can meet Atletico’s asking price for the superstar but European Champions and fierce rivals Real Madrid are one of them. As a result, Real have been linked with a move for Griezmann recently and many feel that such a transfer could well come into fruition.

To dismiss the rumors though, Griezmann has now gone on to categorically state that he will never consider joining Los Blancos due to their rivalry with Atletico.

The 25-year-old told in an interview with Telefoot, “I am feeling great at Atletico. It’s true that I would like to win titles …. but I couldn’t go to Real Madrid because of the rivalry. There’s also a pact between the clubs.”
