Former Valencia and Real Madrid manager Rafael Benitez was spotted back at Anfield during Liverpool’s pulsating 3-3 draw against Arsenal in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

It is no secret that former Real Madrid boss Rafael Benitez has a special place in his heart for Liverpool and following his recent departure from the Santiago Bernabeu, the 55-year old was spotted back at Anfield where he enjoyed the 3-3 draw between Liverpool and Arsenal on Wednesday night.

Benitez managed at Liverpool between 2004 and 2010 and led the Reds to the Champions League as well as the FA Cup. The Spaniard still owns a house in Merseyside six years after his departure from Liverpool and the 55-year old consistently gets linked with a move back to Anfield as a result.

With Jurgen Klopp impressing at the moment though, it is unlikely that rumors of Benitez making a return to Liverpool will resurface anytime soon but nonetheless, his appearance at Anfield on Wednesday night would have been very well received by the fans.
