Liverpool have to pay £20million to sign Barcelona star

3rd January 2016 by sarads

Ter Stegen

Liverpool will have to splash as much as £20million to secure the services of Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, according to reports from the Daily Mirror.

Liverpool are set to be very busy in the January transfer market and signing a new goalkeeper seems to be a priority for manager Jurgen Klopp.

Recent reports have claimed that Klopp is considering a move for Barcelona second choice Marc-Andre ter Stegen and is pondering a bid of around £12million to land the services of the German international.

In a blow to Liverpool’s hopes of signing ter Stegen though, they will most likely have to part with a whopping £20million in order to sign the goalkeeper – as reported by the Daily Mirror.

Despite ter Stegen not being handed regular minutes on the pitch, Barcelona rate him very highly and will only consider selling the 23-year old if they receive offers in excess of £20million.
