Poor Start For Kenny Dalgish As Liverpool Suffer Defeat At Blackpool

12th January 2011 by andym

Kenny Dalglish or ‘King Kenny’ as he’s affectionately known on Merseyside had a less than pleasing start as his side threw away a one goal lead to lose 2-1 away at Bloomfield Road. Fernando Torres blasted in a driven shot to give Liverpool a dream start to the game but Ian Holloway’s men were resilient and level ten minutes later thanks to Gary Taylor-Fletcher. Striker DJ Campbell netted the deserved winner in the second half after an extended spell of pressure. Final Score – Blackpool 2-1 Liverpool. See the highlights here!
