Jose would be welcomed back at the Bridge

24th November 2012 by jamesc

He oozes charisma, he’s full of confidence and if the young ‘hipsters’ have a say, he also has ‘swag’. Jose Mourinho is Roman Abramovich’s ideal manager. Still to this day he probably regrets giving him the boot and it’s fair to say Chelsea have never looked like the same force despite the trophies since the ‘Special one’ left. Pep Guardiola’s is the supposed successor to the ‘hardest job in football’ after Rafa’s done the dirty work but he would have been implemented straight away if he wasn’t committed to staying on his break in New York.

Despite this, it’s hard to imagine if Mourinho comes available that Abramovich will turn a blind eye, he yearns for the days of the special one’s reign.

Although he signed a contract extension in the summer, there’s always a hint that Mourinho is not enjoying his tenure at Madrid as much as he used to. Constant bickering with players, senior ones at that in Casillas and Ramos haven’t helped and his comments after the draw at Manchester City sounded like a passive-aggressive dig at the current Real owners. The self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ claimed that he himself would have been sacked if Real hadn’t qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League by now and in hindsight it’s probably a comment he should have kept to himself.

Mourinho’s perhaps feeling pressure after his side are arguably shadows of the record breaking team of last year. Real aren’t convincing and it’s worrying Jose.

Having said all that, Jose’s not the type to walk away from unfinished business. The Champion’s League is a trophy that eluded him at Chelsea, he won’t let it at Real. Despite not being as convincing as last year, they still do have the capacity to win the trophy. Slow improvement has been the story of  this current season and performances are becoming more complete as the weeks roll on. They have been tested so far in the competition against Manchester City and Dortmund and this is ideal preparation you’d have to agree, for the challenging knockout stage.

It would be great to see Mourinho back at Chelsea, he was the face of the club and is fondly remembered by the fans. His weekly antics made him one of the most entertaining characters in English football. Of course, not forgetting his tactical mind, he’s dragged success to every club he’s been at. The array of attacking players at Chelsea would also give Mourinho a field day.

Chelsea team is one of the giant team for EPL. They have many talented player. But they all are not in well combination for this they are not able to give better performance. This team required a coach who will able to make their combination by modifying team strategy, play style. For this Mourinho I think he is perfect. He has the ability to make the team perfect by formation and combination of the players.I hope he will join in Chelsea and make them able to better perform.
