Chelsea among favourites to land Falcao signature in January transfer window

10th October 2012 by andym

There are no two ways about it, Atletico Madrid are on a roll in La Liga right now. With 19 points from their first seven games they sit level with league leaders Barcelona in La Primera Division and their win against fellow high flyers Malaga at the weekend proved to everyone that Diego Simeone’s side will be a force to be reckoned with this season.

Star striker Radamel Falcao García, or Falcao for short, has been the main catalyst behind their early successes with eight goals already to his name in La Liga this year as well as a thumping hat-trick in his sides 4-1 Super Cup victory over Chelsea at the beginning of the season. It seems however that Chelsea of all sides are ready to stump up the cash to land the signature of one Europe’s most wanted strikers after the footballing lesson he taught them that memorable night in Monaco.

With both Manchester clubs already over-subscribed for big name strikers at the moment and a myriad of other clubs unable to afford the Colombian’s £48.3 million release fee, Chelsea seem the most likely to acquire his services.

With Chelsea also enjoying similar success to Atletico so far in the domestic campaign, Falcao could be just the man Chelsea need to help mount a successful Premier League title challenge this season.

Falcao is really a great striker at current time,He is now in proper form.He have perfect finishing, good head accuracy, and accurate way for ball receive.Chelsea is the re known giant team in EPL.They are now badly need of a striker like Drogba. For the replacement of Drogba , Torres is not so perfect. So for this I think Falcao is much better than Torres.I hope Chelsea will able to capture him.
